The Huard is a 1,500 ft² lakefront chalet offering three bedrooms, two living rooms, a large terrace, a private spa and direct access to Lake Pohénégamook.

Pohénégamook offers a peaceful natural setting with activities in every season. Enjoy the lake, fishing, golf, hiking, snowmobiling, local food and nearby attractions, all within easy reach of the chalet.

ROAD ACCESSIBILITY
The town does a good job clearing the street of snow, and the driveway has a slight slope. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended in winter, although it is not mandatory for guests with good winter-driving skills. If you are not travelling with a 4x4, we recommend bringing sand and salt in case your vehicle gets stuck on the slope.

AIR CONDITIONING
The wall-mounted air conditioner in the living room can normally cool the entire space if the doors are left open and the unit remains running during hot weather.

PETS
CATS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. We accept a maximum of 1 dog under certain strict conditions and only with our authorization. We are animal lovers but have had bad experiences in the past with owners who disrespect our property, thank you for your understanding.

๏ Guests must have at least 1 positive review from previous Airbnb experience.
๏ We do not accept young dogs under 1 year old.
๏ Your dog must be "clean", must not climb on furniture and access bedrooms at all times.
Your dog must not cause a noise nuisance to the neighbors.
Guests must pick up after their dog at all times and keep the yard clean.

NOISES
Please respect our peaceful community. No parties are allowed. Keep music and voices at a reasonable level, especially in the evening.

SPA
The spa is open year-round. We provide bathroom towels only, please bring your own spa towels.

CHAMBER #3 - MEZZANINE
The open-concept sleeping area on the upper floor is quite bright in the morning despite the presence of curtains.

FISHING
Fishing is permitted on the lake. Lake Pohénégamook is home primarily to lake trout, brook trout and landlocked salmon, as well as yellow perch and whitefish. Don't forget your fishing licence.

BRINGING YOUR OWN BOAT
-Whether motorized or non-motorized, your boat must be cleaned at the municipal wash station. Any user with a watercraft on a body of water within the territory of Pohénégamook must carry valid proof of washing.

-All motorized watercraft must be launched at the municipal boat ramp.

-Any individual or legal entity violating the by-law is liable to a fine + legal costs by the local municipality.
