Our quiet street has something charming about it! The curve it describes, the small colorful houses you find there and the small park just next to the building, walk through the streets of this district, you'd think you were in a village!
The location of the apartment is just ideal to be close to all the festivities, but with the calm of a small street! The apartment is less than 5 minutes from the Frontenac metro station, which is on the green line and will allow you to be in the city center, Vieux-Port, Place des arts, etc. very quickly. Going to BERRI UQAM, you can change to the orange or yellow line.
Close to the Frontenac metro station, there are also many local shops such as the IGA, the pharmacy, the fruit shop Marché TRIO, bakery, etc. From mid-May to early December, there is a small market that sells local fruits and vegetables at an affordable price, and above all, it encourages our Quebec farmers! The countryside is less than 5 minutes from the apartment!
In Montreal, especially in the summer, everything is done on foot or by bike, it's a great way to visit our beautiful city.
You are less than a 10-minute walk from the Village, this neighborhood is one of the liveliest in Montreal thanks to its many restaurants, bars, and clubs. Its popularity extends beyond our borders and makes its inhabitants proud! Freedom, diversity, and acceptance are the values of this beautiful and colorful neighborhood!
You are also close to the shores of the St. Lawrence River and Le Village au pied du courant is a collaborative project to give Montrealers and tourists the opportunity to reclaim the riverbanks with a magnificent view of the Jacques Cartier Bridge. Feet in the sand, a local beer in your hand, and good music in your ears - nothing better to enjoy our beautiful city!
In July, don't miss the Quebec Lotto Fireworks Competition, this month's Wednesdays, and Saturdays several countries of the world are competing, who will have made the most beautiful fireworks?! Enjoy like us its magnificent fireworks 15 minutes from the apartment!
- 5 minutes from Frontenac metro station and shops: IGA, Pharmacy, Pastry, Marché Trio, Mac Donald, Tim Horton's etc.
- 10 min by walk to Papineau and Village metro station
- Bus 125 to Ontario 2 min by walk
Noise
The apartment is located in a typical old Montreal building full of charm but the soundproofing is not perfect. Being in a lively neighborhood, there can be noise pollution (cars, people, etc.) as in any big city.
DOGS
We accept a maximum of 1 dog under strict conditions and only with our authorization. You must notify us in advance and show us official documentation if you have a service dog. We will take a $500 penalty if any of these rules are not respected.
Additional fees: $100 per stay.
Conditions:
- You must have at least 1 positive comment from previous experiences;
- Your dog must be over 1 year old and weigh less than 40 lbs;
- Your dog must be "clean": dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture. Should you find it impossible to prevent your dog from climbing onto beds or furniture, we encourage you to
bring your own bedding (blankets for beds and sofas) during your stay. This will help to prevent or minimize the cost of any additional cleaning charges.
- Your dog must not cause a noise nuisance for neighbours and must be on a leash at all times when in the common areas.
- You must pick up after their dog at all times and keep the unit clean.
OTHER PETS
Cats and other pets are NOT ALLOWED.
Parking
We don't have a parking lot, but there are free spaces on the street or in the adjacent streets, but take the time to read the signs carefully! There is also a paid public parking lot less than 10 minutes walk from the unit.
AC
We have air conditioning only in one of the rooms but we also have a ceiling fan above each bed and the sofa bed.
