• On the shore of Lac Beauvoir

• A dock on the shore, where you can admire the lake, sometimes peaceful and
mysterious, sometimes bright and lively. Take your morning coffee here and you
might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the great blue heron, often resting
on the right-hand side of the lake. A pair of mallard ducks visit us every summer,
often accompanied by their many ducklings. And if you're in luck, you might even
meet one of the lake's resident beavers, which sometimes approaches and slaps
its tail on the water to warn its family of the presence of humans nearby :o)

✧ Fully furnished and well equipped this chalet will make you feel at home!

✧ The “Grand Héron” bedroom is open on the mezzanine, and it includes a king bed, a
work desk and a private bathroom with a freestanding bath.

✧The “Nénuphars” bedroom is in the basement has a queen bed and a work desk.

✧ The “Renard” bedroom, also in the basement, has a bunk bed (single and double).

✧ Our large kitchen is fully equipped to allow you to cook a variety of meals during
your vacation. Dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, food essentials are on site to
facilitate preparation. You even have access to a fondue kit, raclette, a crockpot, and
a popcorn machine!

✧ In the living room there is a large modular sofa, and a smart television allowing
access to your Netflix account.

✧ The basement offers a common area, with a wood stove, a bar with a bench and
stools, board games and a foosball table.

✧ The chalet has a total of 3 full bathrooms, one on each floor.

✧ Outside, there's a terrace with a dining area, a propane BBQ and a year-round spa. At
the lake, there's a dock on the shore overlooking Lac Beauvoir, as well as a platform
in the middle of the lake where you can take one of the watercrafts. What's more, in
summer you have access to 2 paddleboards, 2 single kayaks, 2 children's kayaks
and a pedalo. There are 8 life jackets available: 4 for adults, 2 for children from 26 to
46 lbs and 2 for children from 60 to 90 lbs.

✦ You will have access to the entire chalet and its outdoor spaces in complete privacy,
except for two storage spaces and a cabinet.

LAKE
The chalet is facing the Lake Beauvoir. We have private access to the lake.
There is a dock on the lake at your disposal. The lake is a natural environment with algae and water lilies. We recommend that you bring your water shoes as the bottom of the lake is muddy. There is a pedal boat, two paddleboards, two single kayaks, a kayak for children and 8 life jackets at your disposal in the outdoor shed. Motorized boats are not allowed on the lake. You can't fish on the lake . There are also several outfitters in the area that offer this service. Visit the Outfitters of Quebec website. Don't forget to get the fishing license at the Canadian Tire.

BEACH
We recommend that you swim at the municipal beach of St-Hypolite, 7 minutes away by car.

WINTER
Depending on the ice conditions, it is possible to skate on the lake. I ask you to always be careful and to inspect the ice well before stepping on it. You can also visit the municipal ice rink.
You cannot ice fish on the lake.

- 2 hours from Trois-Rivieres
- 3 hours from Quebec City

FOR NATURE LOVERS

Use the various watercrafts to discover beautiful spots on the lake and catch a glimpse
of Mr. Lebrun (our beaver), our pair of mallard ducks and their ducklings, and our
majestic great heron.

To the left of the lake, in what we jokingly call the 'Bayou', you'll find a gigantic beaver
lodge. Keep a few meters away so as not to disturb Mr. Lebrun's family :o)

On the right-hand side, at the far end of the lake, you'll find a little bay we affectionately
call our 'Hidden Bay'... It's full of surprises, including a beaver dam, beautiful insects and
even carnivorous plants! It's up to you to discover!

Then there are the Bullfrogs, with their lime-green, yellow and orange bellies. Their
croaks, sometimes cacophonous, announce the arrival of the summer.

And of course, there are the water lilies, especially along the banks, with pretty yellow,
pink and white flowers. You'll notice that the white flowers open in the morning, while
the yellow ones only open in the afternoon.

ACCESS TO WATER

The chalet is located on the shore of Lac Beauvoir. It is a natural environment and the
lake contains water lilies and as most small lakes in Québec, the bottom is muddy and
may contain leeches. Note - Putting salt on a leech will remove them from the skin. We
recommend bringing water shoes if you want to go into the water.
We also have a platform in the middle of the lake, accessible using the watercrafts, if
you'd like to soak up the sun and go for a swim.

TV

We have a smart TV in the unit but do not offer a cable channel. You will be able to log
into your Netflix account directly on the television.

BARBECUE

Due to cold weather during the winter months, our barbecue is not available between
November and April.

FIREPLACE / LOGS

There is an indoor wood stove and an outdoor fireplace available to you. We provide
about ten logs per stay. If you want more, you can buy some near the chalet, the
addresses will be in your guest manual.
In winter: It is your responsibility to clear the access to the outdoor fireplace.
