The location of our apartment is in the Villeray district! It is one of Montreal's new "trendy" neighbourhoods! The media thus underline its effervescence, vitality, dynamism, human scale and numerous citizen projects, particularly in the area of greening. The borough is a real jewel of greenery. Its streets lined with tall trees and green spaces maintain a unique neighbourhood life.

The district is undergoing a generational renewal, which is creating an effervescence around its streets De Castelnau and Villeray. On the first one, coffee and brunch are multiplying. On the second floor, restaurants and bars come alive, especially in the evening. Jarry Street, once not very attractive, has also started to make its mark in recent years, focusing on originality and local products.

You will be close to many restaurants, microbreweries, cafés and the Jean-Talon Market, the best place to buy good fresh vegetables and fruit:) Its stalls are so colourful that it is worth a visit!

The BIXI (bicycle) station is around the corner! The Jarry metro station is only a 5-minute walk away. Many bus lines are around the corner.

My favourite addresses in the neighbourhood: coffee YES BUT NO is less than 5 minutes away, the bakery DOLCE PANE which offers a beautiful variety of pastries! The restaurant has tapas TAPEO! And of course the VESTA restaurant with its delicious pizzas.

We live in a residential area, so NO PARTY is allowed in our apartment at any time during your stay.

There are 20 steps to climb to access the entrance of the unit. My apartment is not adapted for people with reduced mobility. Stairs can be icy and/or snow-covered during the winter if we haven't had time to clear them.

We don't have parking but it is easy to park in the street, or in the adjacent streets some spaces are free but beware of the signs there are hours to respect!
